Family planning - here are some questions to ask:
- What does God want of my family right now?
- What does God want us to be?
- What does God want us to do?
- How can we be more Christ-like to each other?
- How can we be more like the Holy Family?
- How can we better serve the Church and our community?
- What virtues should symbolise our family's purpose?
- How should we address difficulties in our family?
- How can we better pray together as a family?
- How can we share our faith with others?
- What is our family's vision for the future?
The Holy Family is the model of family life because the Holy Family expresses the whole truth about the family. With this model we can look at our own family and see where we have been, where we are and where we are to go. Most of all, the Holy Family offers us the opportunity of re-living the spiritual atmosphere of the home at Nazareth where Jesus grew up.
